The whole system is there - heater, switch, cable. It's not hard to get in and have a look. But most likely the key has rotted, it's easier to throw it away and take a new one.

It’s just that their buttons and the base itself burn up, there was a time when I ordered several buttons on alik, but oddly enough they didn’t last more than a couple of weeks, it was probably rubbish, in general, if there is a guarantee, then take it to the store, and where they sell without it, or rather give 2 weeks is not worth taking.

Take the kettle with the stand to someone who knows how or to the SC. Try plugging the kettle into a different outlet. Read the instructions for the kettle. There might be an answer to your question.
